Richard Karn is an American actor, author, and former game show host best known as Al Borland in the ABC series Home Improvement and as Fred Peters in the Hulu series Pen15. He was also the fifth host of Family Feud.
He is also in Carrie and Jess Save the Universe, Assembly Required, Ctrl, Air Buddies, Horse Camp: A Love Tail, Amanda and the Fox, The Stars are Already Dead, Poolboy: Drowning out the Fury, and multiple Christmas-themed movies, including The Christmas Dance, Check Inn to Christmas, A Dog for Christmas, Christmasland, and Christmas in Mississippi.
