The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is a not-for-profit educational organization dedicated to the study of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, with over 50,000 participants worldwide who recreate different aspects of these eras. Members learn about the eras they recreate through research, by wearing the clothing of the time and doing the activities, crafts, arts and sciences practiced pre-17th century. These include a wide variety of topics: clothing to food to armor and more. Nearly any art or craft that was done during the era is being done by someone in the SCA.!
